One of the criticisms levelled at romance writers is that we deal in fantasy and not enough ‘real life’. All our heroes are tall dark and handsome and the heroines look like they stepped off the catwalk and neither seem to be dealing with the struggles and challenges of life, love and living. I have decided to set myself the challenge of writing romances that aim to show how people can find love and happiness despite the fact that they are not tall dark and handsome, look like a model and do not have all the trappings of success.
My aim is to write wholesome and inspirational romance that reflects how the characters in my stories face the challenges of life, living and the choices that they have to make to fulfil their destiny.
